My
personal earliest memories of fishing are of begging my parents to take
me to the lake's shores for some bluegill action on red wigglers. Later
on, I progressed to crappie on minnows and then sand bass on artificial
baits. I also took a brief run at large mouth bass, but eventually I
came back to my roots.
Now, at the young age of 35 years old, I hit the water for some fishing any chance I can. Now, though, I use almost exclusively artificial bait, although you still catch me on occasion threading a red wiggler on a hook beneath a red and white bobber in an attempt to entice a bluegill.
Fishing, for me, isn't just about catching fish. It's about getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a chance to get out and pit my wits against the fish and elements. It's an opportunity to get out and create some memories with my dad, who is also my fishing partner. You'll find my partner and me fishing together almost every weekend.
When I'm not fishing, I'm at my full-time job as store manager and computer technician for Blue Candle Computers in Colleyville, Texas. My hours there are spent building and serviceing computers for my residential and business customers.
When I have other free time, it is spent making my own crappie jigs, sand bass lures and thinking about fishing. Please visit the Products page for information and details on how you can purchase some of my hand-made items.
Well, as you can see, I am pretty easy to please. Just put me on the water, hand me a rod 'n reel, and I'm all set. I'm the average man with a single passion....fishing.
I
look forward to meeting you and helping you create some FishyMemories.
