- $150 - This tour is available for one grown-up and one youngster (age
5-12). We will use squirmy (live) bait and our target fish will be bluegill....
a pint-sized fish for a pint-sized fisherman/fisherwoman. This tour
will last up to 2-3 hours. Depending on the skill level of your youngster,
we can change the target fish with advanced notice.
My job during this tour will be to bait hooks, take fish off and take pictures. We will take lots of digital pictures. These photos can be mailed to you after the tour on CDRom or you can download them from a special page set up just for you from my website.
Get 'em Hooked - $175 - This tour is available for one grown-up and and one youngster (age 13-17). We will be using artificial baits and our target fish will be sand bass.... an aggressive feeding fish that can create more fun and excitement than should be legal. This tour will last up to 3-4 hours. Depending on the skill level of your youngster, we can change the target fish with advanced notice.
My job during this tour will be to put you and your youngster on the fish, help you catch them, take fish off of hooks, and, of course, take lots more digital photos.
***Note - Any grown-up booking a Makin' Memories or Get 'em Hooked tour has the option of booking an Introductory Tour or a Grand Tour for a discount if booked within the same calendar year. Email me for details.
Introductory Tour - $200 - This tour is available for one or two adults (even the young at heart). We will be using artificial baits and our target will be sand bass and/or crappie. This tour will last up to 4-5 hours.
Depending on your wishes or needs, I will introduce you to Lake Grapevine, the decided target fish and how/where to locate and catch them, new techniques, and perhaps new spins on old techniques. If you're just looking to get on the water for a short time or learn something new, this is the tour for you.
Grand Tour - $300 - This tour is for one or two adults. We will be using artificial baits and our target fish will be sand bass and/or crappie. This tour will last up to 7-8 hours. This is the tour to take it all in.
****Note - A youngster can be substituted for an adult on any available tour.
Extra! Extra! - You can add one grown-up or one youngster for an additional $50 on any tour.
Service - I will clean your catch for an additional $25, or we can do a fish for fillet exchange. Fish for fillet exchange means that I will take your catch home with me in exchange for previously cleaned and currently frozen fish fillets. Please let me know in advance if you would like either of these services.
Equipment - We will fish out of a 2006 Lund ProV SE boat with a 225HP Mercury Optimax. I can comfortably accommodate three guests plus myself. All tackle can be furnished if needed. Please let me know in advance if this is required.
What you need to bring - You may wish to bring a hat, rain suit, sunscreen, snacks and drinks. My boat has a built-in ice chest that can easily hold up to a 12-pack of drinks and two or more bags of ice. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Do not forget to bring your Texas Freshwater Fishing License. All persons fishing that are required to have a license must have a license.
Important Information - Safety first. You will be contacted the day prior to your scheduled tour and any adjustments, cancellations or rescheduling will be made at that time if necessary due to inclimate or unsafe weather conditions.
I take all necessary precautions while on the water. The safety of my guest(s) is of utmost priority. Everyone on board will wear a Life Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) at all times while the outboard is running. Youngsters will wear a PFD at all times the boat is on the water. A PFD can be provided for any youngster with advanced notice.
When you book a tour with me, Jeff Schiller, or anyone acting on behalf of FishyMemories.com, you release Jeff Schiller, FishyMemories.com, and those acting on behalf of FishyMemories.com from any and all liability due to accidental injury or death.
